Meet our team

Soaring is a Caltech spin-off co-founded in 2020, by Dr. Mory Gharib, the Hans W. Liepmann Professor of Aeronautics and Medical Engineering.  Mr. Daniel Trunfio, Soaring’s CEO, is a proven International C-Level executive experienced in building, scaling and operating businesses worldwide. The company is currently focused on delivering its patented UAS platform to the United States Military and to Fire & Rescue units nationwide.
